Delete your account
Accounts are optional in Tendlets. If you made one to back up your pets, you can delete it, along with its backup, at any time.
In the app (quickest)
- Open Tendlets and go to the Me tab.
- Under Your account, tap Delete my account, then confirm.
Your account and its backup are deleted from our servers straight away.
Here, without the app
We’ll email you a 6-digit code to check the account is yours, so nobody else can delete it.

If there’s a Tendlets account for , we’ve emailed it a 6-digit code. It can take a minute to arrive.
3. Delete for good
This deletes your account and its backup straight away. You can’t undo it.
Done
Your account and its backup have been deleted. Your pets are still on your phone until you delete the app or tap Start over.

What’s deleted
- Your account: the email address you signed in with.
- Your backup: your pets, the things you look after and your reminder times, your care history, gratitude jar notes and settings.
- Your record of sparkle packs bought, here and at RevenueCat (the service that checks purchases). Bought sparkles can’t be restored on another phone afterwards.
We don’t keep any of it afterwards.
What isn’t deleted
- The game on your phone. Your pets stay on your phone until you tap Start over in the Me tab or delete the app.
- Backup codes you’ve sent yourself with “Back up my pet” are in your own notes or messages, so delete those wherever you saved them.
- Apple’s or Google’s receipts for anything you bought. They keep these under their own policies.
